Wrap-Up: Food Fun! (Part 2)

I'm back with Part 2 of all of the food fun that you might have missed over the past 6 weeks on The Episodic Eater.  (For Part 1, click here)  Once again, I had a sneak peek of a few new restaurant menus, attended two of the best food events in L.A., and had a dessert that is so popular that some are calling it the next Cronut.  There are lots of delicious food photos ahead, so be warned!

Alegria Cocina Latina (Long Beach, CA)

The newly revamped menu at Alegria Cocina Latina is packed full of dishes that are lovely and colorful.  Not to mention that the dishes taste amazing too!

Tacolandia (Los Angeles, CA)

The second annual Tacolandia was just ridiculous!  Catch a taste of the 43 different tacos from vendors around California and Mexico.

L.A. Street Food Fest (Pasadena, CA)

Yep, the food event of the year!  Over 100 different restaurants, food trucks, and pop-ups represented with delicious bites.  The L.A. Street Food Fest wrap-up is obviously one of the longest posts on The Episodic Eater...and you won't be disappointed.  :)

Boldo Bol (Santa Ana, CA)

I had the chance to preview Boldo Bol, a new restaurant opening in Downtown Santa Ana.  Everything is fresh, delicious, and locally grown.  Also, it's the cutest restaurant I've seen in a while, so I could just sit there and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Domenico's (Long Beach, CA)

I celebrated at Domenico's for their 60th anniversary, making them the oldest restaurant in Long Beach.  Seriously, they had pizzas for $1.25 and salads for 40 cents.  Obviously, lines were around the block!

PIE-NOT (Costa Mesa, CA)

Ever had an Australian meat pie?  This was my first experience, but I know that I'll be headed back very, very soon to PIE-NOT.  All of the pies I tried were ridiculously good, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Sugarfina (Beverly Hills, CA)

Sugarfina is the greatest candy store ever!  I love how they stock kid and adult-friendly candies of all kinds, and the wall of candy below is just a fraction of their offerings.  Yep.  Yet another post packed with sweet treats on The Episodic Eater!

Riviera 31 (Los Angeles, CA)

The desserts above look amazing, right?  Well, I somehow ate them even after all of the food below from Riviera 31...

Seasons 52 (throughout U.S.)

Seasons 52 has a new amazing summer menu with beautiful, gorgeous food.  Oh, and their signature desserts are as wonderful as ever...

Beachwood BBQ (Long Beach, CA)

Beachwood BBQ is one of the best restaurants around for food lovers and beer drinkers.  Don't believe me?  See the Buffalo Sloppy Joe above and the beer flight below?  Oh yes, now you can see.  That's just part of the deliciousness shared on the post.  :)

Driftwood Kitchen (Laguna Beach, CA)

Laguna Beach is pretty much the quintessential beach town, and Driftwood Kitchen has one of the most fantastic views for a memorable dinner.  Believe me, if there is one thing that can pull focus from the beautiful beach, it is the gorgeous dishes of food...

Afters Ice Cream (Fountain Valley, CA)

Now, Afters Ice Cream makes the dessert that is so popular that people wait for hours and hours just to order one milky bun.  In fact, some are calling it the next Cronut.  Even though I want it to stay a secret so lines don't get any longer, I'm sharing it all with you.  So delicious...
