So anyways, I don't want you to miss a moment on The Episodic Eater, so here is Part 1 of the food fun. :)
La Parolaccia Osteria Italiana (Long Beach, CA)
This restaurant is one of the busiest restaurants filled with locals, so you can imagine how wonderful the pasta is! Take a peek here.
Spago (Beverly Hills, CA)
Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck began serving wonderful food at his Spago restaurants over 30 years ago, and I remember many amazing brunches and dinners here over the years. We had an amazing dinner for my mom's birthday, but I had my first really big blogging fail here...
Slater's 50/50 (Southern California)
The Slater's 50/50 chain has their famous 50/50 patty made with 50% beef and 50% bacon, but they had so many amazing items on their menu. I have LOTS of pictures because my huge party ordered so many awesome dishes!
Anaheim Packing District (Anaheim, CA)
I was invited to preview many of the new restaurants and others coming soon in the new Anaheim Packing House. I am super excited about so many of these restaurants, and the design inside is absolutely drool-worthy.
Oh yeah, and the food and drinks are all amazing too! They also have a wonderful food vendors, including a butcher with unusual and hard-to-find meats, etc.
Candle Light Bakery (Norwalk, CA)
My friend brought me some wonderful treats from Candle Light Bakery for my birthday!
Lee's Sandwiches (Western U.S.)
For my birthday lunch, I grabbed a quick lunch with my friend, complete with green cupcakes!
La Boulange (Los Angeles, CA)
Ooh, another preview! I had the chance to try out tastings from the new La Boulange restaurant before it opened. It was fantastic and I brought home just a few pastries for a midnight snack...
The Sycamore Kitchen (Los Angeles, CA)
Oh wow. I tried out The Sycamore Kitchen that was on my "To Eat" list for a really, really long time. Why didn't I try it sooner? Really, you must see this post and put the restaurant on your own list.
fōnuts (Los Angeles, CA)
I previously tried fōnuts pre-blog, but I decided to go back and try a ton of their offerings. See all of the flavors and my favorite picks!
The Belvedere (Beverly Hills, CA)
For Father's Day, my dad chose The Belvedere! Besides the awesome entrees, there was a dessert buffet. Yep, you read that right! See ALL of the desserts on the blog for some major dessert inspiration. :)
Z'Tejas (Costa Mesa, CA)
I was happy to take a study break and taste the new Z'Tejas summer menu. I loved the crab cakes above, and I'm definitely going to order another of their delish summer cocktails next time!
Bistango (Irvine, CA)
Yet another summer menu unveiling, this time at Bistango! So much amazing food, and gorgeous too. :)
Il Fornaio (Irvine, CA)
I just love Il Fornaio for its fresh pasta and breads, so it's always a winner. :)
I hope you're not too hungry after all of those delicious photos. If you can stand it, click on each link to see the whole meal from start to finish. And remember, that's just Part 1! Stay tuned tomorrow for Part 2. :)
Are you hungry yet? ;)
