Yep, that summer camp staple of friendship bracelets, which I loved when I was a kid. I ended up making some fancier ones as I got older, which you can see below...
I liked using a rainbow of colors, and it was really fun to make different patterns too. Now, let me point out a couple of special ones.
This one had a rubber cord that gave it a 3-dimensional look. Notice that it is slightly wavy? I think it was part of the plan, but I'm not sure...
And I thought I would share the back closure. I am not sure what it is called, but it was a nice way to put it on my wrist and be able to take it off easily. Otherwise, I remember other girls wearing it the whole summer and looking gray and grody by the end of camp. :)
To store it, I completely forgot about this, but I used two toilet paper rolls! I tried using fancy bracelet holders, but this was the easiest thing to be able to slide them on and off easily and still keep them neat. Pretty clever!
