I know it's not officially summer yet, but the weather is telling me a different story! We were out and about a few weekends ago and just before heading to the Patchwork Show, I realized that we were completely unprepared for the sunny day. All week I am super busy with work, studying, and more, SO weekends are for all of my blogging, fun adventures, and errands. So to make things quick, I stopped at Walgreens and picked up a few extra items to encourage some healthy habits for summer! Wanna find out what my summer essentials are? Read on!
First of all, I found out that it was the end of Women's Health month from a few signs around Walgreens. However, even though May has ended, why not continue focusing on women's health, right?
Luckily, Walgreens actually has an entire section of Women's Health products located in the Vitamins section! I picked up a couple of bottles of vitamins while I was there. :)
And the initial reason I needed to stop by: sunscreen! There were a ton of sale prices and they were fully stocked, so I definitely found my favorite sunscreen for a deal. :) I also picked up a lip balm with SPF to make sure to combat against the sun's harmful rays.
Lastly, I knew that I would be shaking people's hands all during the show and tasting some delicious treats, so I needed hand sanitizer. Otherwise, I would be swimming in germs! Personally, I buy a huge bottle and use it to refill the tiny to-go bottles. Easy peashooter!
So basically, I bought some great summer essentials to protect myself from the sun and from craft show germs, plus some daily vitamins to keep me health all summer and longer! Luckily, I found everything on my list conveniently and a a great price. :)
What essentials do you buy for the summer to keep you healthy?
i'm really into fish oil. i started taking it for my pregnancy, but plan on taking it forever. so good for you.
ReplyDeleteoh, also check out harmless harvest 100% raw coconut water. so yummy and good for you.
ReplyDeleteSo true! It's so beneficial to your health, and I'm surprised that more people don't take it daily.
ReplyDeleteOoh! There are so many coconut waters that have some type of acid to preserve it, and it always leaves a terrible aftertaste to me. I'll definitely check it out!
ReplyDeleteMy summer essentials are a heavy conditioner, special "summertime" product for my curly hair, sun screen, and a lip balm. OF COURSE. Because Lip balm is a necessary evil any season, right? #client
