ANNOUNCEMENT: Upcoming Food/Craft/Sewing Events + Meet Me :)

Oh my word.  In the next month, I have so many events to attend!  In fact, there is a weekend with three different events plus my dad's birthday, so I have to skip a couple.  However, I wanted to share a few of the awesome events that I will be attending in Southern California over the next couple months.  Let me know if you'll be attending and we can meet up!

Artisanal LA: 

This weekend, they are having a wonderful food event in Downtown L.A., which I am excited to attend!  Past Shop Small Saturday Showcase features, Pernicious Pickling Co. & Moxxie Essential Care, will be there and I can't wait to say hello and meet some new friends!

TEAVANA & Starbucks Oprah Chai Tea Launch:

Yesterday, I had the privilege to sample the Oprah Chai Tea that will be rolling out in Starbucks and TEAVANA stores across the country on April 29th.  I Instagram-ed this picture below, but I have so much more to share with you soon!  I have a sneak peek on The Episodic Eater right now, but believe me, you definitely need to try it when it is available in less than a week.  I know I'll be in line!

I had this on my calendar for a long, long time, but it turns out that with my father's birthday, Unique LA below, another private food event that I unfortunately had to decline, and this event all on the same weekend, I have to pass because it's the furthest of the bunch.  It does look amazing, and I hope some of you can go!

I am so excited to return this year!  I will be attending on Saturday and seeing a bunch of past Shop Small Saturday Showcase features, really too many to list here.  Be sure and visit the website for the amazing list of vendors.

Bite at the Beach

Can I say how excited I am about this event?  It is going to be fantastic, with delicious food from local restaurants and over 20 craft beer pairings from a number of fantastic breweries.  This is the first annual event (of which I hope there will be more, based on the participants) and a portion of the proceeds are being donated to the Surfrider Foundation.  Having already eating at MB Post and Simmzy's, I am expecting a lot, especially because Fishing With Dynamite and a few others are on my "must eat" list!

Any longtime reader will know that I love these events!  I was a fan way before I even started blogging.  I posted about the winter Patchwork Long Beach show, and I am ecstatic to attend again!  It is located in such a lovely area and there is so much to do even if you are not crafty: eat delicious food, buy handmade gifts for yourself or others, and meet me!  :)
