What a coincidence! When I saw her again at Patchwork Santa Ana a few days ago, I just had to take home a pair of her cute earrings. Check out all the prettiness for yourself!

Tell me a little bit about yourself!
I was working in the footwear industry for five years, designing for big brands and major retailers. I was spending most of my time on computers instead of actually designing so I had a major itch to be creative. So, I started making hair accessories for friends as a hobby and I started getting more requests. Later I expanded into making jewelry & that’s pretty much how it got started.
Where did the name of your store come from?
Sachi means "happiness" in Japanese and I took the word "Love" because I really want everyone to love my pieces that they wear.
What is your favorite item?
My favorite item to make are Biloba Earrings. I get so many custom orders on the color requests & I enjoyed dying each pieces to get the perfect color.
What is your most popular item?
Style "Geisha" are really popular item for Fall/Winter.
Despite their size, they're very comfortable & light as a feather. You can easily pair with your favorite tops, jeans, & your dress. Its a statement piece so instead of planning your outfit first, you need to plan your outfit around your jewelry.
Where do you get the inspiration for your work?
I live in Long Beach so I find inspiration every time I go outside. I don’t have a specific place I always go to but I do love taking a long walk and looking at nature, old buildings and checking out peoples’ style. I always have my camera with me and L.A. is a good place to find inspirations because it’s very culturally diverse with great energy and creativity.
What makes your store unique?
All my pieces are one of a kind & I hand make each & every piece. I sourced all the materials in LA and each lace is hand dyed & hand stiffened so they don't lose their shape.
What is the toughest part about making your goods/your artistic process?
The toughest part is finding & sourcing the perfect laces & trim but it's also my favorite part. I need to make sure the laces are durable and the trims are good quality.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes, I get lots of custom orders on color requests. Also, if they have certain look they are looking for than I can always come up with new ideas and designs. Usually custom orders take about 5 - 7 days depending on the color, designs, & materials they want to use.
When is the last day I can order in time for Christmas Day?
12/21, but for custom order 12/14.
Where can I see more of your work and buy a gift?

My choice was of course the lovely teal color, and I can't wait to sport them soon! I think my next favorite choice would be the maroon Geisha earrings. I'm so happy that I had the chance to share two of my faves together in one piece: lace and jewelry. :) Pop on over and say hello to Sachi Love Accessories and buy a couple of earrings that would be perfect as stocking stuffers!
Happy shopping!
