My Link Party Picks! ~ Diane's Vintage Zest!

My Link Party Picks!

Hi everybody!  If you're new to my site, my name is Diane and I blog here at Vintage Zest where I share sewing tutorials & projects, travel tips, DIY crafts, home decor, and organizational tips.  I am ecstatic that I was given the opportunity to co-host Take-a-Look Tuesday with Mandy, and even more excited to feature some of YOU!

But first, here is a recent project of mine where I got to try a few tutorials out: 1) Dying a mason jar, 2) Making rope balls, 3) Tying a fishing net, and 4) Cutting out vinyl labels & jar tops with my Silhouette.  Whew!  Say hello to my Nautical-Inspired "Odds & Ends" Jars!

Now back to you, the real stars of the show!

All of your submissions were creative and inspiring, and I'm so glad that I can highlight a bunch of your incredible projects!

I need to make some shirts with this reverse applique tutorial from Sisters, Sisters, stat!

I absolutely did NOT inherit my mom's green thumb, so I'm excited to see Kelsey from Poofy Cheeks share her tips for propagating succulents!  Maybe I can impress with my own plants soon!

I have a thing for blueberry donuts.  I even conducted a taste test of feuding donut shops in my area! Anyways, I'm glad that Malia from Yesterday on Tuesday shared this recipe for Iced Blueberry Donuts.  It'll give me a chance to use my donut pan!

Vanina from Mother Crafter made these fun statement sunglasses!  I'm so excited to customize some to match my DIY sunglasses cases.  :)

I already have a pin cushion cuff, but not a thread catcher!  Perfect excuse to make this adorable pin cushion boat from Buttons and Paint.

How did I not realize how few ingredients I would need to make yummy hummus?  Ashley from My Craftily Ever After even shares ideas for different flavors in her recipe!  I'll definitely make some next time I make some falafel!

This is such a cute project!  Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me made these pretty Yarn Wrapped Letters for a friend's baby's room.  I have sooo much yarn that would make such pretty gifts!

Leslie of The Seasoned Homemaker shared some tips to dry herbs that will absolutely come in handy this summer!

I definitely need these tips on how to use a serger that MammaNene from Serger Pepper shared.  Thanks!

I have a pencil skirt challenge going on right now, but this custom skirt pattern that Mie from Sewing Like Mad shared is going to be next on the list!

Lasagna in a skillet?  This recipe for Lightened Up Skillet Lasagna from Jamie of Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom is getting pinned ASAP!

And blackberry cobbler in a crockpot for dessert?  Yes!  Julie from Coco and Cocoa shared this super simple recipe!

Thanks for everyone linking up this week!  And a huge thanks to Mandy for the opportunity to co-host and feature some amazing talent here on Sugar Bee Crafts and Vintage Zest.  If you were featured, feel free to grab the button below.

I hope to see you at Vintage Zest soon!  Have a beautiful day!  :)
